Job Title: Consultant in Adult Psychiatry Grade: Consultant Location: London, Greater London Working Hours: 40 Rate : Competitive, to be discussed upon application We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry work full time hours per week for our client’s substance misuse team-based in London, Greater London. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract. What will your responsibilities be? The Consultant Psychiatrist is to provide clinical leadership and support in clearing the long waiting list of Autism diagnostic assessment. The post holder will provide clinical supervision to leads in our client’s service and will provide support to the strategic and clinical lead for MASD on complex case management when required. The post holder will play a vital role in triaging referrals and offering diagnostic assessments for adults with Autism. The post holder will be encouraged to work with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver interventions and be expected to offer specialist input to mainstream mental health services in management of clients with Autism and complex mental health diagnosis.
