A quickly-growing private security firm is looking for an experienced security sales professional to help spearhead growth in Northern California. This is a pivotal role with an emerging 200-person company where you’ll collaborate directly with the CEO and play an important part in the company’s expansion. Your success in this role will open avenues for career progression, with the potential to transition into a leadership role or open new markets as the organization continues to expand. As Sr. Business Development Manager, you’ll focus on winning new accounts. This is a consultative sales approach centered on discovering pain points and providing a solution. The sales process includes new business generation activities and a relationship-building approach that may include engagements such as customer lunches, golf, and other networking opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Marquee accounts include the Port of Oakland, Sacramento Kings, Golden 1 Center, Stockton Arena, CBRE, T-Mobile, etc.

* Generous commission % plus ongoing residual commissions for the life of the account!
Compensation and Benefits:
* Base salary of $100K-140K, total on-target-earnings Year 1: $185K-205K. Year 2: $300K+ (Uncapped + Ongoing Residuals!).

Minimum Requirements:
* Candidates must have a 5+ total years of successful experience in new business development, ideally within the physical security space or an adjacent industry such as fire security, building engineering/maintenance, janitorial services, alarm systems, etc.
* Proven history of success and a systematic, well-organized approach to the sales process.
* BA/BS strongly preferred.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to present to C-level executives.
* Intangibles: Energy, grit, self-discipline, high urgency.
