ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as a Maintenance Coordinator will be to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff, ensure the smooth operation of the facilities, and uphold high standards of building upkeep.
Key responsibilities include:
* Promptly resolving maintenance issues with a working knowledge of building systems and regulatory requirements. These include plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical systems, equipment repairs, and interior/exterior finishes (e.g., redecorating rooms, conducting fire training, water checks, fire testing, compliance and safety checks).
* Engaging with approved contractors and sourcing alternative suppliers as needed.
* Handling emergencies related to the building fabric or systems.
* Where applicable, directly managing the Maintenance Assistant, including supervision, goal setting, performance reviews, approving hours, managing absences, and holiday requests.
