Schools Mutual Services (SMS) have several opportunities for experienced Teaching Assistants and HLTAs with availability for daily, short-term and long-term supply cover teaching assistant opportunities.
Our family of schools rely on SMS to meet their cover requirements daily and the demand for experienced teaching assistants and HLTAs is growing rapidly. We need teaching assistants and HLTAs who live locally in Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Darlington and Oxford who can cover immediate vacancies.

You will need to meet Teaching Assistant / HLTA standards or have an equivalent qualification or experience with demonstrable levels of numeracy & literacy equivalent to GCSE (A-C) or NVQ Level 2, together with experience in a school environment or working with/caring for children of the relevant age. You must be able to provide references for your teaching experience and have the right to work in the UK.
