Job Title: Payroll Administrator

About the Role
As a Payroll Administrator, you will assist in the end-to-end monthly payroll processing for our group, including year-end procedures. You’ll handle everything from calculating wages, processing employee benefits, and reconciling pensions to addressing employee payroll inquiries with a positive and helpful attitude. If you thrive on accuracy, compliance, and supporting your colleagues, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities
* Process employee wages, absences, overtime, and deductions for smaller payrolls.
* Administer employee benefits and reconcile pensions.
* Prepare and distribute payroll reports to stakeholders.
* Handle employee inquiries and escalate issues when needed.
* Support the team with statutory payments, including Sick Pay, Maternity Pay, PAYE, and National Insurance.
* Assist with year-end payroll processes and audits.
* Ensure GDPR compliance and maintain payroll records.
* Uphold relevant payroll legislation and company policies.
What We're Looking For
* Strong administration experience.
* Computer literacy with excellent Excel skills.
* Analytical and numerical aptitude.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent attention to detail, time management, and confidentiality.
Desirable:
* Basic payroll knowledge.
* 12 months of payroll experience.
