We are now looking to recruit a dynamic and forward-thinking Sales Office Manager to help propel the business to the next level and lead the way to achieving our vision of becoming a household name for recycled car parts.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing the sales team, coordinating sales operations, and implementing sales strategies that enable the business to consistently meet and exceed its sales targets. They will work closely with high-value account customers, evaluate budgets, and identify ways to simplify and optimize the sales process.
The ideal candidate will be skilled in mentoring sales team members, setting quotas, assigning sales training, and hiring additional team members as needed. They will also be responsible for setting goals, prioritising tasks, and eliminating redundant activities to boost sales performance.
Responsibilities include:
1. Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to expand the company’s customer base and strengthen its market presence
2. Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by effectively managing sales teams and assessing team strengths and weaknesses
3. Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
4. Building and promoting long-lasting, healthy customer relationships by partnering with clients
5. Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to target key demographics
6. Providing weekly reports on various sales channels used by the company to market its diverse product offerings
7. Communicating data to leadership
8. Engaging the team to enable them to deliver excellent customer service and measure and manage Sales Advisors against their KPI’s
What we need from you:
Essential
1. The ability to communicate effectively, inspire, and motivate a sales team
2. A proven track record of driving the sales process, from planning to closing
3. Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
4. Several years of experience in a sales role, typically beginning as a sales representative and advancing to a managerial role
5. Strong computer, technology, and media skills are essential, particularly for advertising and media sales
6. The ability to manage and motivate a team
7. Proven experience of working in a strong, sales, target driven environment, providing excellent customer service
8. Experience of P&L Management, with commercial management exposure
9. Great interpersonal and leadership skills
Desirable
1. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, mathematics, or statistics is preferred.
2. An A-Level in business or law is a plus, though not required.
3. Automotive knowledge would be helpful, but isn't essential
