Are you a skilled and experienced Paint Technician looking to join a dynamic and experienced automotive repair team?
We are seeking a talented Vehicle Paint Technician to join the team at our Komoo – Powered By Steer site in Sheffield, specialising in fleet and rental hire vehicle repairs.

About The Role
As a Vehicle Paint Technician with Komoo, you will be working with a variety of fleet and rental hire vehicles. You will have the following responsibilities:
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
* Mix paint to match vehicle colour and apply it using spray guns and other equipment.
* Running our spray booth.
* Ensure paint jobs meet quality standards and customer specifications.
* Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring that all health and safety procedures and guidelines are being followed.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with experience and skills in vehicle paint spraying, ideally with a background in fleet and rental hire vehicle repair.
You will possess:
* Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques and materials.
* Ability to use paint mixing equipment and spray guns effectively.
* Knowledge and understanding of the accident repair industry as well as fleet and rental hire vehicle repair.
* Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ideally hold ATA / NVQ qualifications, and we will support in the renewal of these.
