About the Role:
* Position: Physics Teacher
* Location: Newcastle
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract Type: Full-time, [Permanent/Long-term Temporary]
* Salary: £28,000 - £43,000 per annum (MPS/UPS), depending on experience
Your Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for science, fostering a deep understanding of Physics concepts.
* Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their full potential.
* Promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the classroom.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and dynamic science department.
* Contribute to the school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events.
About You:
We are looking for a Physics Teacher who:
* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Has a strong academic background and in-depth subject knowledge in Physics.
* Demonstrates excellent teaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Possesses strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
* Is committed to raising standards and supporting the academic development of all learners.
* Has experience teaching in UK secondary schools (preferred but not essential for exceptional candidates).
