Pretty much in the centre of Scotland, we’re set in a 900-acre estate in stunning Perthshire. Home from home, we’ve been welcoming generations of families for 150 years. We have 215 hotel bedrooms, 55 self-catering lodges, six restaurants and over 60 onsite activities – there really is something for everyone!
About the Role
A warm welcome sets the tone for an unforgettable stay, and as our Reception Supervisor, you’ll lead the way in ensuring every guest's first impression of Crieff Hydro is exceptional. From smooth check-ins to resolving issues and upselling the resort’s wide array of activities, your positivity and professionalism will set the standard for our front desk team.
What We Need From You
As a Reception Supervisor, you’ll be the right hand to our Reception Manager and Assistant Reception Manager, helping oversee the department and ensuring smooth daily operations. You’ll:
1. Lead by example with excellent customer service skills, motivating and supporting the team.
2. Be a problem-solver with a proactive approach to guest and team needs.
3. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering collaboration across all departments.
4. Manage well under pressure, maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
5. Take ownership of operational tasks, from managing team schedules to ensuring systems run efficiently.
Previous customer service experience is essential, and experience with booking systems like Maestro is a big plus.
