Your new role
The role involves a range of accounting tasks including credit control, invoice posting, and bank reconciliations. This position is ideal for someone with at least some finance experience or who has studied accountancy at university (or studying for your AAT) who is proficient with Microsoft Excel and systems.
1. Conduct credit control activities to ensure timely payments.
2. Post purchase invoices accurately within the system.
3. Manage bank receipts and payments, maintaining meticulous records.
4. Perform bank and CDS reconciliations regularly.
5. Allocate costs to jobs effectively and accurately.
6. Generate ad hoc reports and analysis to support management decisions.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Some experience of working in finance or studying accountancy at university or studying for your AAT.
8. Experience within the freight industry is preferred
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Systems, particularly Excel (V Look-up & Pivot Table).
