Roles and Responsibilities:
* Installation and Commissioning:
Install and commission both private and adoptable pumping stations to meet relevant Water Authority specifications.
* Site Surveys:
Conduct site surveys at customer locations, providing detailed reports to assist in preparing proposals for refurbishments.
* Fault Finding and Maintenance:
Attend customer sites to perform fault-finding, installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of industrial pumping stations and equipment.
* Compliance:
Ensure installation, repair, and testing of pump and control equipment comply with company and manufacturer standards.
* Servicing:
Service and maintain pumping stations.
* Problem-Solving:
Identify and rectify faults efficiently.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Safety:
Adhere to a strict safety policy, ensuring safe working practices at all times. Produce robust risk assessments and method statements to comply with all site-specific OH&S requirements.
* Professionalism:
Work diligently and professionally, with a focus on meeting customer expectations and providing outstanding customer service.
Essential Criteria:
* Preferred Knowledge:
o HNC Electro/Mechanical Engineering or VQ Level 3 technical qualification.
o 18th Edition or equivalent qualification.
o Confined space certification.
o CSCS card.
o Health and Safety awareness with the ability to carry out risk assessments.
o Extensive experience in installations, fault-finding, testing, and repair of pumps and a range of controls.
* Preferred Skills:
o Self-motivated and dynamic individual.
o Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build good customer relationships.
o Strong planning and reporting skills.
o Ability to work in the field.
o Full driving licence.
o Good knowledge of working with wiring schematics.
o The ability to use your own initiative.
o Teamwork and adherence to core values.
o Excellent communication and report writing skills.
o Flexible working hours (overtime).
o Willingness to stay overnight when required.
o Understanding of pumping systems (desirable but not essential).
