As a Sales Manager, you will sell memorable experiences to guests, take ownership of the Manchester Marketplace, and develop new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities include soliciting group, transient and/or banquet business, establishing parameters and quotes, negotiating prices, and closing contracts.
You will also participate in tradeshows, conventions, and promotional events, and maintain accounts, contact, activity, and business details.
To succeed in this role, you will need a natural skill for networking, excellent presentation skills, and a dynamic, self-motivated approach to challenges.
Additionally, you will require knowledge and awareness of the Manchester Marketplace, a proven track record in Hospitality or Corporate Sales, strong sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
