Description
The In-House Lawyer will:
* Identify and manage legal risks early, ensuring legally sound decisions across the organisation.
* Guide compliance by advising on internal policies and providing solutions-focused support.
* Conduct complex casework with oversight from senior legal team members.
* Engage cross-functionally to support objectives, training, and project participation.
* Make key triage decisions in operational assessments after specialised training.
Profile
The In-House Lawyer should have:
* A proven track record within a similar role as a Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in managing caseloads and delivering precise, legally grounded advice.
* Expertise in at least one area: data protection, commercial contracts, or employment law, ideally within the public sector.
* Clear, concise written communication tailored to varied audiences.
