What we are looking for?
You will currently be or have worked as a Pastry Demi/Commis Chef De Partie or at least have 1 year working as a Pastry Commis Chef and looking to make your next step. You must be passionate about food and elevating your career to become a Senior Chef. Our Afternoon Tea holds a special place in our guests heart so experience in the preparation in high end hotels is extremely desirable. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the team in a 5 star environment where growth and progression is encouraged and creativity is welcomed.
* Kitchen experience in banqueting would be preferred but not essential.
* Flexible & adaptable to different working conditions.
* Professional culinary education. Diplomas & certificates in culinary art.
* Experience in high quality small banquet operation.
* A genuine passion for culinary arts
* A strong commitment to upholding the highest standards in food preparation and kitchen service.
* Proven competence in ensuring food safety and adhering to strict hygiene practices.
* The ability to acquire and continually develop a comprehensive professional knowledge encompassing all aspects relevant to the role and its operation.
* Have an ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting.
