Customer Service Administrator permanent job in Chesterfield £28,000
Your new company: Hays are excited to be working on a fantastic new job opportunity in Chesterfield. Our client is an international manufacturing organisation keen to appoint a Customer Service Administrator to join a busy team. Ideally, the successful candidate will have held a similar role previously as a customer service administrator/sales administrator in a manufacturing/distribution organisation.
Your new role: You will join a busy Customer Service department and the main purpose of the role will be to process customer sales orders received via email in SAP. You will support an international customer base with the coordination of delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Receiving customer orders via email and processing sales orders onto SAP
2. Processing part orders
3. Providing customers with order acknowledgements
4. Providing full customer support, order updates, and management of customer records as required
5. Working with other departments to progress orders
6. Liaising with freight agents to arrange transport, provide packing lists, and tracking/collection details
7. Providing customers with export documentation, certificates of origin, EUR1 forms, and relevant chamber of commerce documents
8. Sales invoicing and credit notes
What you'll need to succeed: The successful candidate will be a proven customer service administrator. Ideally, you will have some export experience, but this is not essential. Sales order processing experience is required, and SAP knowledge would be advantageous.
