Salary: £39,330 per annum for 37 hours Location: Taunton or Yeovil Hybrid Working : Option to work 2-3 days at home Contract: Permanent Playing a key role in shaping the HR Team, you will help us to deliver the very best HR Service to the Hospice. What can you expect to be doing? Your role will be to support with the continued implementation of our new HR System. This is a vital project that will ensure employees are empowered, connected, and better equipped to meet the needs of those we serve. Collaborating across all areas of the Hospice as well as externally, you will really be able to get to know all our teams - from retail and marketing to inpatient and community care. You will also take the lead on a range of projects linked to our strategic and departmental objectives. Part of this will include promoting our new organisational values and bringing them to life in our everyday work. Your day-to-day role will include: Driving the optimisation of the HR Management and Applicant Tracking Systems. Monitoring their effectiveness and looking at ways they can be enhanced. Leading on the introduction and integration of new systems Training the HR Team, staff, and managers in how to use new systems and features Updating best practice and designing, reviewing, and maintaining policies Line managing and supporting the HR Administrators Championing the use of AI and new Technology Although this is mainly a project and systems-based role, there may occasionally be a need to support with operational HR work, such as investigations. What will you be good at? You will need: Previous HR Experience To be able to explain complex topics to a range of diverse audiences in a way that is easy to understand An ability to advise and influence others, working in partnership across teams. A good understanding of compliance, e.g. Data security, employment legislation, or CQC requirements Able to champion new systems and processes. You will inspire staff through the change process, clearly setting out their role and how they will benefit. What can we offer you?
