We are retained to manage the recruitment of a new Sales & Specification Director for our client, a market leading national supplier of specialist building products.
They are growing and looking to strengthen their sales division with the appointment of a new Director that will lead a nation wide team, bringing expertise in the industry, and have the ability to implement and deliver a robust strategy.
Through effectively leading the team, your goal will be to maximise the sales and profitability of the business, whilst guaranteeing exceptional service to all customers.
You will be required to travel UK wide with the role.
Key responsibilities:
* Design and implement a sales strategy for all core products as well as a specification strategy for a specialist product range
* Identify opportunities within existing customers and drive new customer initiatives and business development
* Inspire and drive a culture of high performance within your team including effective KPI management
* Ensure exceptional customer service.
* Accurate and timely reporting
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with all major Suppliers and Customers
* Promote and maintain safe and environmentally friendly working practices
* Lead the recruitment and development of your team, coach and equip them all with the relevant skills and knowledge to be successful
Key skills & Experience:
* Experienced sales leader with a proven track record in a related industry
