Job summary
The post-holder willbe responsible for managing the immunisation team to ensure vaccinationprogrammes are delivered on time and results are achieved in line with contractspecifications.
Main duties of the job
Responsible for leading and managing teams, including performance management, absence management, interviewing and onboarding candidates, probation reviews, and conducting 1-to-1 meetings.
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the service in their borough
Modelling core values, fostering a harmonious, inclusive work environment, and inspiring and motivating teams to produce exceptional work consistently.
Plan, maintain, and manage a schedule to ensure adequate coverage for all administrators and nurses, and arrange emergency coverage when necessary.
Responsible for ensuring that the calendar for school immunisation sessions and catch-up clinics is completed in line with contract KPIs.
Manage consent form processing in accordance with Immunisation Standard Operating Procedure (SOP )
EnsurePatient Group Directives (PGDs) for Immunisations are signed and maintained.
Responsible for team budgets and forecasting templates in line with KPIs .
Continuously review uptake figures and collaborate with schools and the management to implement relevant improvement plans and strategies when uptake is low.
Handle stock ordering and arrange transportation of vaccinations to the site.
Actively and constructively contribute to team meetings.
Support and deputise for the Programme Manager
Undertake other duties as required for this position's level.
Comply with company policies and procedures.
