L&Q are looking for a Cashier with experience in Cashiering and Accounts Payable. The successful candidate will report to the Ledgers & FTT Manager and be responsible for a combination of tasks such as processing bank transactions, reconciling the bank accounts, rent & revenue posting, Housing Benefit processing, managing returned direct debits, setting up new suppliers, verifying supplier bank details and BIB Emergency Payments. You will also be responsible for managing and reconciling the petty cash float for the Northwest.
This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced role, working to tight deadlines whilst delivering outstanding customer service. You must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
This role requires someone with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills as you will be expected to develop working relationships with internal and external customers.
Skills and experience required for this role are as follows:
* Be experienced in Cashiering and Accounts Payable.
* Experienced in using Outlook, Word & Excel (Intermediate)
* Be an excellent communicator with a track record of working with stakeholders.
* Ability to multitask and reprioritise during the day
* Open Accounts knowledge (desirable)
* Qualification at least AAT Level 2 or higher
