KBR has an exciting opportunity for a Lead IT ERP Microsoft Dynamics Finance Operations & Project Operations Configuration Specialist.
As a Functional configuration specialist, your work will include the delivery and support of configuration activities and other micro services used by the organization. You will be responsible for the deployment of configuration within the global solution across multiple countries and environments.
Job Responsibilities
* Work closely with functional teams on handover of agreed configuration and its documentation.
* Clear and concise documentation and recording of all system configuration and its change history throughout the multiphase implementation and for run & maintain support services.
* The ability to manage the status of each configuration through environments of development, quality (UAT), and production support environments and maintain auditable tracking during the deployment process.
* Maintain data elements to move configuration between environments and companies in a consistent and precise manner leveraging LCS where possible aligned with change management methodologies.
* Responsible for all setup and parameters in D365 business solutions, including personalization, Feature management, and Batch jobs.
* Work with Auditors, both internal and external, to provide evidence of successful deployment of configuration.
* Work with Test management on code deployment after each test phase.
* Assist Functional teams in troubleshooting and resolving configuration issues within the D365 environments.
* Assist with evaluating new features and periodic mandatory updates from Microsoft and other VARs from Deployment and testing perspective.
Requirements
* Experience working in Finance Operations and Project Operations with familiarity of the Electronic Reporting, General Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Fixed Asset, and Project Accounting modules and its configuration elements.
* Good organization skills and able to be in control of a large number of configuration attributes in different stages of deployment.
* Experience of technical tasks related to data management within the system.
* Strong experience working with MSD security team to design, develop, and test security roles needed for master data and transactional data in Finance & Project Operations.
* Familiarity across the Finance Operations data relationship to assist in the structure of PowerBI environment supporting functional business processes to assist the Analytics team.
* Familiarity with Project Operations and its interaction with Finance Operations.
* Experience with Dual Write configuration and functionality across both modules.
* Prior experience in using Azure DevOps for tracking user stories, changes, and testing.
* Experience on how to personalize screens in Finance and Operations and how to deploy to users.
* Knowledge of and experience in ERP implementation principles, practices, and methodologies.
* Strong desire to learn with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work in matrix team environments, including strong stakeholder interface capability.
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another related field.
* A relevant number of years of experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics Finance Operations design, development, deployment, and implementations & support.
* Dynamics 365 Functional Certification preferred.
* Familiarity with front-end web development background with Blazer.
* Familiar with SQL.
* Familiar with load testing skills such as Storm Runner.
Location
* Leatherhead, Surrey
* A requirement to come into the Leatherhead office 3 days a week (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday)
