* Location: UK.
* Work Pattern: This role is available as either: A remote-first position with regular travel to NFYFC Stoneleigh Park office for key meetings and collaborative work OR A hybrid arrangement working from NFYFC's Stoneleigh Park office (typically two or three days per week) and from home. For this option, candidates would live within commutable distance of Stoneleigh.

The National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs (NFYFC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Fundraising Manager to develop and implement strategies for securing funding from trusts, grant-making bodies, and corporate partners. This role is crucial in ensuring NFYFC’s financial sustainability and growth, collaborating with team members and engaging with our vibrant community of young farmers.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and research potential donors, trusts, and funding prospects.
* Prepare compelling funding applications, bids, proposals, and reports.
* Develop and grow relationships with charitable trusts and foundations.
* Establish and maintain corporate collaborations and funding opportunities.
* Expand individual giving programmes through multi-channel donor campaigns.
* Create fundraising toolkits for YFC county federations.
* Integrate funding strategies into NFYFC’s marketing and communications.
* Maintain accurate funding records and track income against targets.
* Stay up to date with fundraising trends and best practices.
* Support NFYFC with additional responsibilities as required.
Minimum Qualifications
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
* Proven track record of securing income from trusts and grant-making bodies.
* Knowledge of the UK fundraising landscape.
* Strong research and analytical abilities.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience using Excel and fundraising databases.
* Ability to develop reporting trackers to monitor fundraising activities.
* Experience researching trusts via charity commission and fundraising databases.
* Strong relationship-building skills across all levels, including young members, grant managers, and stakeholders.
* UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Experience working with volunteers and supporters.
* Experience in committee work.

The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (England & Wales) [NFYFC] is one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK. The organisation provides opportunities for personal development of its members through training programmes, competitions, skills certificates and overseas travel. This is a democratic membership organisation comprising of approx. 23,000 YFC members of 560+ Young Farmers’ Clubs in England & Wales which are grouped in 46 county federations.
The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs supports the clubs and county federations achieve the charity objectives through a range of programmes and training underpinned by youth work principles. Programmes of work are designed to offer opportunities for participation, learning, fun and personal development to YFC members aged 10 to 28 years and to those supporting them in their roles across England and Wales.
