About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral part of the Ferrero team, where your expertise will shape the future of our Laboratory and Incoming Quality Pillars in this exciting Incoming Pack role. In this crucial position, you will oversee the technical administration and quality control processes, meticulously following our group guidelines. Your commitment will be essential in maintaining Ferrero's dedication to technological excellence and market competitiveness.
Main Responsibilities
1. Execute sampling based on criteria defined in the packaging statements and SAP sampling plans, adhering to safety and accident prevention regulations.
2. Perform internal and external sampling, conducting optical inspections on materials according to international guidelines for production, warehouses, and laboratories.
3. Record goods movements in SAP, including stock for quality controls, locked stocks, and stock on behalf of third parties.
4. Elaborate on the results of control calendars within the tables and lots of control in SAP.
5. Identify samples through SAP log-in and deliver them to internal and external laboratories while performing qualitative analysis on materials using appropriate instruments.
6. Analyze general aspects such as hygienic conditions and seals of incoming batches, conduct analysis on packaging, and identify unexpected issues, as well as control packaging material stocks.
7. Release non-conformity reports whenever monitored parameters show "out of standard" values.
8. Inspect internal and external warehouses and logistics services, ensuring Ferrero's standards are consistently met.
Who We Are Looking For
Ideally educated to degree level, you should have a good understanding of laboratory processes and procedures, including sample processing and analysis. SAP experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. It would be beneficial to have an understanding of quality management systems, including deviation management, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action processes. Key qualifications include:
1. Ability to conduct thorough inspections and audits of warehouses, logistics services, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
2. Strong aptitude for drafting and managing various documents, including SOPs, COSHH, H&S Risk Assessments, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Ability to analyse data and results, identify trends or deviations, and propose appropriate actions to address them.
