Overview
Under the direction of the Promotions Shift Manager, the Promotions Coordinator coordinates all aspects across promotions. Serves as on-site coordinator during promotions, introduces and coordinates activities with affected departments, communicates promotional events and collateral with casino Team Members, assists in event planning, and acts as on-site coordinator of events as necessary.
Responsibilities
* Attends and runs promotions developed by Marketing.
* Serves as direct contact on the floor during promotions and events.
* Works with Promotions Shift Manager in ensuring communication of promotions by coordinating promotion operations and acting as on-site contact during promotions.
* Works with Player Development, Player’s Club, Hotel/Spa, Gift Shop, and Food and Beverage to communicate guidelines and details of each promotion.
* Assists in promotion development for multiple promotions while adhering to the scope of the Chumash Casino business objectives.
* Assists in providing overview and training for Team Members related to promotions.
* Fields patron complaints when promotions have failed to meet guest expectations.
* Ensures promotions have appropriate collateral to attract participation.
* Upholds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.Team.Chumash.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
* Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience.
* Three years prior experience in Casino Operations or related field.
* Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.
* Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
* Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.
* Native American hiring preference applies.
