Excellent communication and telephone skills are essential as you will be receiving and responding to requests from patients, carers, and other healthcare providers as well as liaising with other members of the surgery team. You will have the ability to be organised and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment. Experience in an NHS reception post would be desirable but not essential. The Receptionist is at the forefront and must be remain professional at all times.
