Job Type: Accounts Assistant (Part-Time)

About the Role:
My Client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Manager in the smooth running of the Accounts Department. This role will provide an opportunity to assist in a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks. You will also be expected to cover for other Accounts staff when needed, ensuring continuity across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Raise payments for fines and PCNs and update the main system.
• Process Supplier payments using SAGE.
• Regularly reconcile Supplier Accounts and Customer Accounts using SAGE.
• Post and reconcile Customer contras on both Supplier and Customer Accounts within SAGE.
• Assist with Credit Control duties when necessary.
• Process recharge invoices for customers.
• Manage Fines administration and process all relevant documents to the main system.
• Provide client contact support via telephone or other communication channels as required.
• Provide coverage for Accounts staff when needed, ensuring smooth operations.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills.
• Proficient in Excel and spreadsheet management.
• Experience with SAGE 50 software.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and use initiative.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Flexible and able to manage fleet driver contacts and various communication channels effectively.
