Reimagine the possibilities with us. In this key role, you will work closely with and support the Area Director, and Service Managers playing a vital part in managing the Ipswich and East locality. Your responsibilities will include: putting people at the heart of everything we do innovating and thinking creatively including undertaking a tactical leadership responsibility supporting the delivery of People at the Heart of Care Transformation providing service leadership and proactive role in Senior Management Teams ensuring continuous improvement of service performance identifying, managing and mitigating service risk promoting a culture of value for money and supporting change management to embed continuous improvement developing and maintaining exceptional standards of practice, collaborating closely with partners and third-sector colleagues to foster excellent relationships continuing to drive forward the delivery of our integrated approach. No two days will be the same, so you will need to be flexible, committed, highly motivated, and able to think on your feet. Friendly and compassionate, you will work alongside both managers and practitioners to drive performance improvement, using dynamic and strategic leadership approaches to ensure the highest standards of service delivery. You should have an excellent understanding of both health and care systems, demonstrating behaviours of a system leader. This role is crucial in the ongoing development of the localities’ discharge-to-assess approach and integrated neighbourhood team working. A social work qualification and registration with Social Work England, along with experience working at a senior level within a local authority, are required.
