Your new role
As a community fundraiser for the Midlands region, you will play a crucial role in helping the charity to meet its strategic goals. Your main duties will involve effectively managing a pipeline of fundraising opportunities across the region and raising awareness for the charity. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the appropriate use of volunteers and resources to support such efforts and contribute towards achieving the regional team target.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in community fundraising and meeting financial targets are essential as you will be targeted with this on a monthly basis. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with a CRM/database and daily use of MS Office. Ideally, you will have knowledge of Charity Law, GDPR and Fundraising Regulator. You will possess excellent communication skills, to speak sensitively with members of the public, who may be going through distressing experiences. You will work cross-functionally with other departments throughout the charity, such as PR and Innovation. You will demonstrate fantastic time management skills and the ability to work proactively and independently.
