You will contribute to various training-related tasks and processes, whilst supporting the Head of Training and Development and the Early Years Trainer to deliver a targeted and inspiring strategy of learning, training, and development across Cherubs Nurseries. What you’ll be doing… Child-centric Maintain the training folder to ensure all guides are up to date and version controlled. Review and report on the performance of the Cherubs Nurseries Performance Management Tool. Communicate with Purpose Maintain the Cherubs Nurseries annual training calendar, ensuring it is up to date and latest versions are shared with all stakeholders. Support the scheduling of training courses, ensuring all employees are informed of training schedules, locations, and requirements in a timely manner to maximise attendance. Play to Win Support the update of training aids such as new procedures, manuals, handbooks, and presentations. Support with project management or involvement of various people-related projects and launches. Seek out Solutions Take an active role in the organisation of our termly Staff Training Days – brainstorming, putting together schedules, organising resources and measuring their success. Gather, review, and analyse the feedback from our people on the training they have received, to drive continuous improvement across the training team and overall service delivery. Look out for each other Be responsible for the Cherubs Nurseries training matrix, ensuring all nurseries and individuals are compliant. Be responsible for onboarding all new starters on to the Early Years Alliance E-Learning platform across the business, ensuring high engagement and success rates. Support the Onboarding Executive in ensuring all new team members are allocated the relevant training as part of their probation. Support in the proof reading of training material to ensure these are print and training-ready – ensuring spelling and grammar is correct and the content is relevant. The ideal experience for this role… At least 2-years’ experience in working in a similar role. Experience of working as part of a nursery or early years setting. The ideal skill set for this role… Natural and confident communicator – you will need to be able to communicate professionally and effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders. Strong IT and computer skills – you will need to be able to use Microsoft Office, email, and Cherubs Nurseries systems. Ability to learn and adapt as systems and process evolve. Attention to detail – you will need to be able to critically evaluate your work and review its success post-implementation. Other role requirements You must be a car driver, with access to your own vehicle. Business travel will be required for this role. What does flexible/hybrid working look like in this role? We acknowledge that this role can accommodate flexible/hybrid working. Up to 1-day per week could be done away from the office, with flexible start and finish times.
