Overview of the role:
The Growth & Development Account Executive will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our taxi business in the Cambridgeshire region. This role involves developing and managing B2B and B2C sales strategies, nurturing key relationships, identifying new opportunities, and enhancing customer engagement. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, target-driven, and thrives in a dynamic environment. This person will work closely with our Sales Support Executive team and report directly to the Client Projects Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sales plans to drive B2C and B2B revenue growth across the Cambridgeshire region.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
* Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and cold calling to closing deals and onboarding new clients.
* Proactively seek new B2B partnerships with local businesses, corporate clients, and community organisations.
* Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets to contribute to overall company growth.
Client Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, local business owners, and community leaders.
* Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and networking events to promote our services and enhance brand visibility.
* Ensure excellent post-sale customer engagement and account management to foster long-term relationships and repeat business.
* Re-engage with lapsed clients and develop strategies to reactivate dormant accounts.
Operational Collaboration:
* Collaborate with the driver relations team to ensure adequate service provision and identify opportunities for growth.
* Work closely with the Sales Support Executive team to ensure leads are followed up, quotations are prepared, and accounts are accurately processed.
* Attend and contribute to regional sales meetings, providing insights and updates on performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
CRM Management and Reporting:
* Accurately record all sales activities, client interactions, and account details in Salesforce CRM.
* Generate and review sales reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve performance.
* Ensure CRM data quality and completeness to support overall business intelligence.
Market Engagement and Brand Development:
* Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and community events to enhance brand presence and market reach.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns tailored to the Cambridge market.
* Identify market trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven experience in a B2B or B2C sales environment.
* Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Experience in developing and managing long-term business relationships.
* Familiarity with CRM software (preferably Salesforce) and a high level of IT proficiency.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven by success.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the region as required.
Performance Indicators:
* Achievement of monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
* Number of new B2B/B2C accounts acquired.
* Client retention and satisfaction rates.
* Quality and completeness of CRM data.
* Engagement and attendance at networking events and client meetings.
For this role you will need strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and work independently and interdependently as required.
