Our Kiddi Caru Crews Hole Nursery, part of Grandir UK, is currently looking for a Forest School Practitioner with Level 2 or above in Forest School to join our team. You’ll be working hard to go "squelch squerch! Squelch, squerch! Squelch, squerch!" But ultimately you'll enjoy sharing a story or two, and have "a beautiful day" to meet the needs of our children.

What will you be doing:
* Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
* To plan and prepare Forest school activities and sessions within a suitable space
* To administer basic first aid where needed
* To be responsible for maintaining risk assessments for the Forest school space with regular updates
* Respect and promote inclusivity by using a wide range of equipment and resources to meet the educational needs of the children, incorporating the forest school elements into your work including sow and grow and messy play
* Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children.
* Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
* In the absence of the Team/Room Leader maintain effective day-to-day management of the playroom.
* Contribute to ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
* Support and mentor students and un-qualified staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice.
* Follow all areas of job description
