Airswift are actively recruiting for a HSE Advisor to join their global EPC client's project delivery team in Teesside on a contract basis. The HSE Advisor will support ongoing HSE Monitoring on the Teesside Portfolio Project located at Wilton whilst managing and ensuring compliance as Principal Design and Principal Contractor as per Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. To ensure that a field presence is maintained throughout the working week. Develop a Construction Phase Plan and HSE Management Plan for the portfolio. Manage, and report on HSE as per client Requirements. Identify, develop, manage, and report improvement areas. To monitor the HSE performance of Customer appointed Construction Contractors that are engaged in scopes of work aligned to the Teesside Portfolio To monitor site compliance with regard to the Customer SSoW and associated procedures To deliver project briefings for new starters and develop/maintain/conduct onboarding and orientation with personnel and construction contractors. Manage and ensure compliance as Principal Design and Principal Contractor as per Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. Develop, maintain, and submit HSE files as per CDM regulations. Develop Risk Assessments and GAP assessments on mobilization, construction, and operations as per CDM and communicate this to construction contractors and personnel. To support the Construction Management Team throughout the working week. Complete HSE audits on Construction Contractors as specified by clients. Part take in European Alliance HSE management meetings and contribute to improvement and reporting requirements. Manage, initiate, and minute monthly HSE steering committee with the client takes place. Undertake Customer training where / when required. Report HSE performance to the Project Manager every week. Reporting as agreed with Project Manager and Client. Have a continued presence in the field in a monitoring role. Report any HSE deviations to the Project Manager in a timely manner Manage, initiate, and minute monthly HSE Construction Contractor committee with the client takes place. Provision of HS&E-related information, advice, and support to the Site Management team and wider workforce, coaching and training of Occupational HSE matters. Promote continual focus regarding Major Accident Hazards, performance standards, and the Safety Case. Ensure awareness and focus are maintained regarding compliance with Environmental consents and permits. Ensure completion of site audits (level 3). Hazard management; HS&E Systems monitoring, maintenance, review and development (including Continual Improvement Plan); Incident Investigation with RCA facilitation. Safety Representative and Environmental liaison and coaching. Other HS&E duties as determined by the OIM. Experience in a similar position. Technically Qualified Professional – in HSE. NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent. Experience with ISSOW. COSHH assessor. Manual handling assessor. Incident investigation experience.
