The Sales Support Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the residential inside and outsourced field sales teams. This position involves supporting the sales teams with production of reports, tracking activity, and providing data. The role will also incorporate elements of online campaign management and product development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the residential sales team, including producing sales reports, tracking sales activations, and identifying issues.
* Utilise Field Sales teams operating system (PSI) to track sales and produce ‘Sweeper’ reports.
* Support the Product Manager in producing online campaigns.
* Support the Product Manager in getting new products to market.
* Ensure all reports are produced in a timely manner and follow up on any outstanding documentation.
* Assist in the preparation of sales reports, including tracking sales performance and customer data.
* Provide regular updates to the Head of Residential Sales on sales activity.
* Work closely with the sales team to identify areas where processes can be improved.
* Assist with organizing and coordinating sales meetings, training sessions, and other team events.
* Provide general administrative support to other departments as needed.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional qualifications in business administration or related fields being advantageous. They will bring previous experience in a sales support or administrative role, ideally within the energy or utilities sector.
The candidate will possess strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems, are essential.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. They will be capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are key personal attributes.
Role Requirements:
* Minimum of 4 years working within the Utility industry in Northern Ireland.
* End to end knowledge of the sales registration process.
* High level of ability with the following IT systems:
o 8x8 Analytics
o PSI Core
o Excel
o UMAX (reporting)
* Experience of creating and tracking online campaigns.
* Working knowledge of Field Sales Operations.
