A diverse, interesting and busy opportunity has arisen for an Security Supervisor at stunning redeveloped estate, situated just a stone's throw from Hyde Park, the impressive space consists of a hotel, residential, retail office and open space.
The Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the Management Team in delivering the smooth and efficient running of the security team

Position: Security Supervisor
Location: London (W2)
Salary: £17.50 per hour
Hours: Average 56 hours per week
Shifts: 3 Days,3 Nights, 3 Off
Job Requirements:
SIA Licence required
Experience in 5* hotel or residential concierge services
Excellent communication both written & verbal
Excellent levels of customer service at all times
Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
To have a smart appearance befitting the company
Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
Be Calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
Able to work as part of a team as well as on your own
Job Role:
To be responsible for the deployment of the security team to ensure that a satisfactory security presence is maintained on site at all times as required by the Client Representative(s).
To ensure that all security personnel adhere to their duties and policies and procedures of the site at all times and report any breach of these immediately to the Duty Manager or the Contract Manager.
To ensure that discipline is maintained on shift at all times including the wearing of full uniform and punctuality of officers.
To ensure the Handover is checked at the beginning of the shift to ensure all vital details are carried out before their time.
Establish a thorough understanding of the site specification and monitor the frequencies of all activities ensuring they are current and in line with Client expectations.
Maintain confidentiality at all times and establish and maintain a good reputation with the client.
Respond to client communication in a professional and timely manner.
Identify any training needs for your staff and feedback to your line management.
Take a proactive approach to increasing the services offered to client.
Complete appropriate training documentation and records.
Ensure any changes to site operations are referenced and included within the Assignment Instructions for the site against which all Security Officers should be assessed to ensure their understanding and compliance. All instructions must be signed as having been read and understood. If new duties are not referenced, then this must be brought to your line management’s attention.
Set and maintain the highest personal and professional standards as an employee of CIS and adopt a total quality approach to every aspect of your work, colleagues and clients.
Regularly inspect all administrative, health and safety and quality procedures and ensure you and your team are compliant.
Ensure that all required risk audits are completed, and any issues escalated to your line management.
Ensure that a daily Health and Safety Walk is completed, and any issues escalated to your line management and recorded on the client’s database.
To ensure the highest standards of customer care are maintained all times when dealing with staff, students and visitors to the site.
Proactively monitor and maintain staff discipline, standards and conduct.
Monitor the Security Officer’s performance, conduct annual appraisals in line with company policy and encourage their personal development
Oversee that the contract’s officers are all performing to the required standards and take appropriate actions to remedy any shortfalls.
To keep a proactive outlook and regular patrol all aspects of the site/s
Monitor that patrols are being adequately completed and to the expected frequency.
Liaise regularly with CIS Managers and senior Supervisors ensuring that they are kept updated on all important aspects.
Regularly audit site equipment & ensure that site paperwork is correctly maintained.
Ensure correct deployment of staff.
Attend all required meetings with the client and your line management in support of the company’s aim of consistent quality service delivery.
Ensure that you complete and submit timesheets/holiday and sickness forms within the given timescales.
Liaise closely with your Team to ensure that they are aware of the changing requirements of the contract.
Monitor absence levels on shift and engage with your line management to reduce any ongoing absence issues
Take detailed notes of all investigatory/capability actions taken against employees making sure that all such matters are first referred to the Senior Security Supervisor or Account Manager
Carry out any reasonable requests made by CIS management.
