Recovery Coordinator - Permanent, Part Time 19hrs per week.
Location: 5 The Applegarth, Northallerton DL7 8LZ
Flexible Working pattern can be discussed at interview stage - This role includes going on visits within the community therefore a Full UK Driving Licence would be preferred. Recovery Workers will be expected to work a late clinic when required this is worked on a rota every couple of weeks.
North Yorkshire Horizons is a service comprised of several key partners with Waythrough as the Lead Provider, enabling the development of a peer led, recovery community. Providing a safe environment in which people can develop the life skills, and confidence to achieve and maintain recovery and abstinence from their substance use, successfully re-integrate into society, and become active, contributing citizens.
You will be required to provide holistic support to adult service users receiving treatment for their substance use within Northallerton and surrounding areas. Based in the Northallerton based Hub you will support them to move through their journey into sustained recovery by achieving positive treatment outcomes.
As directed by the Project Manager and Lead Practitioner, the Recovery Coordinator will be an integral member of the dynamic multi agency team developing and delivering comprehensive and tailored individual interventions that will include delivery of a full range of structured, psychosocial and clinical support. The post calls for close co-operation with other professionals such as GP’s, practice nurses and pharmacists.
