Our client, based in the West Midlands, is looking for a Private Sector Housing Team Manager for a temporary contract of up to 12 months! They need an experienced PEHO or Team Leader to assist in the management of two separate Private Sector Housing Teams within a shared service. Ideally, they would like an Environmental Health Officer or would be happy to accept a proven track record and history of managing and working in Local Authority PSH teams.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following experience:
1. Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) training
2. Private Sector Housing Enforcement experience (e.g., Notices, prosecutions, tribunals, civil penalties)
3. Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) licensing and enforcement experience
4. Experience in implementing new legislation and subsequent procedures
5. Adapting policy to reflect changes
6. Experience in DFGs, empty homes
7. Creating and presenting reports to Local Authority Committees
If you are successful, you will be offered a 12-month contract paying £50-£55PH Umbrella.
