Operating across the commercial, industrial, retail, and leisure sectors, the company delivers end-to-end project management, from concept and design through to installation and ongoing maintenance. With a workforce of around 100 engineers nationwide, they are committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance across all operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and embed health and safety standards across multiple UK-wide sites, working closely with company leadership. Why Apply? Key role – First full-time HSE hire, offering autonomy and impact Diverse projects – Commercial, industrial, retail, and leisure sectors Company car & travel expenses – Credit card provided for mileage, accommodation, and site-related costs Direct access to decision-makers – Report directly to the Directors The Role As the HSE Advisor, you will: Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to staff and subcontractors Investigate incidents and near misses, providing reports and recommendations Work closely with Directors, clients, and external consultants on compliance and improvement initiatives Stay up to date with HSE regulations, ensuring best practices across all sites What We’re Looking For NEBOSH Construction or NEBOSH General Certificate 3-4 years of health & safety experience in construction Hands-on approach, with practical site experience (background in a trade such as plumbing, electrical, or joinery beneficial) Strong communication and leadership skills – ability to influence at all levels Knowledge of ISO auditing processes is an advantage Ability to travel across UK sites (approximately 60% travel) Location & Travel Office based in Greater Leeds Area, West Yorkshire Travel to various UK sites.
