Engineering Service Specialist (In house)

As a Senior In-Service Support Engineer, you will play a key part in ensuring the success of defense systems used by allied navies, with a focus on sonar, radar, power systems, and unmanned platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide engineering support for field service teams, ensuring products are fully supported globally.
2. Collaborate with project managers, engineering leads, and customers to meet support obligations.
3. Proactively address technical issues and customer reports, developing and implementing solutions.
4. Manage system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
5. Oversee inspection programs and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment safety and reliability.
6. Work with logistics teams and implement changes in response to system updates or obsolescence.
7. Prepare estimates for new work packages, manage resources, and lead engineering projects.
Skills and Experience:
1. Degree or diploma in Engineering, Management, or related fields; equivalent experience may be considered.
2. Significant experience in defense engineering, particularly during the in-service lifecycle.
3. Expertise in project management, with a focus on defense standards and customer requirements.
4. Proven ability to work under tight deadlines in challenging environments.
5. Familiarity with maritime equipment is a plus.
