Job Description:
Systech IT Solutions is looking for motivated, aspiring IT professionals who are eager to start their career as an IT Engineer. This apprenticeship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing and maintaining IT systems, networks, and software within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* System Installation and Maintenance: Assist in the installation, management, and maintenance of computer systems and networks.
* Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
* Infrastructure Management: Ensure the efficient running of IT infrastructure, including both physical and virtual components.
* Security Monitoring: Help in monitoring and maintaining IT security to protect against digital threats.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the senior IT engineers and other team members to deliver effective IT solutions and services.
Qualifications:
* Educational Requirements: 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent, including English Language and Maths.
Skills Required:
* Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
* Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* An understanding of IT security principles (preferred but not required).

Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:
* Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure – physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage.
* Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components.
* Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance.
* Maintain regulatory, legal and professional standards.
* Support the information systems needs for your business.
