As Senior Systems Design Engineer, you will make a significant contribution to the System Design of C4I Systems on our programmes through application of world-class Systems Engineering expertise.
Typical day-to-day activities include:
* Requirements analysis
* Interface definition
* Use Case development
* Functional and feature specification
* Elaboration of designs
* Trade-off analysis and liaison with cross-functional teams to develop and regularly deliver working software/solutions.
To be successful in the role, you will ideally bring your expertise in the following:
* Broad competence in systems engineering
* Experience in resolving design challenges
* Experience with structured design methods
* Ability to create well-structured technical documents in accordance with a published schedule
* Ability to present formally at progress reviews and contribute productively in meetings with all stakeholders
* Development of bespoke interfaces and use of open standards interfaces
