Aspirations Academies Trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant at Wykham Park Academy based in Banbury.
Working under the general direction of the SENCO, as a Learning Support Assistants at this level you may work with whole classes, smaller groups or be assigned to work with particular students who may have particular requirements or an EHCP
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious practitioner, who wants to support the next stage of the development of the campus. You will work within the student support team.
We are also interested in Graduates who are considering going into teaching and would like to try a Learning Support Assistant role before they commit to a teacher training
This role is working 30 hours a week, 8.40am-3.10pm - half hour unpaid lunch break, 38 weeks (term time only) plus 3 Inset days.

The successful candidate will be a kind and calm individual, who can quickly foster and sustain positive relationships with adults and young people, be someone with huge amounts of patience and a lifelong learner who is willing to learn the skills needed to support a visually impaired child. Ideally, we are looking for someone who already has experience working with visually impaired students.
