Business Administrator (Bank)
Guildford Hospital | Finance | Bank | Part Time
£12.25 per hour
Monday - Friday working with the possibility of weekend working when training is completed.
The Business Administration team at our Guildford Hospital currently have an opportunity for a bank Business Administrator to join the team. To support with the daily workload.
As a Business Administrator, you will:
1. Assist in the financial administration of all patient accounts.
2. Resolving general queries received in the department.
3. Provide excellent stakeholder/customer service.
4. Support the triage and resolution of queries raised by patients and consultants.
5. Ensure that information received from external stakeholders (e.g. medical secretaries) meets the minimum level of compliance.
6. Resolve Data Quality issues.
7. Work with the Business Administration Manager to continually improve processes.
8. Assist in general office duties such as filing, post etc.
9. Support any other Business Administration requirement within the department.
As a Business Administrator, you will:
10. Have experience in working in a busy customer facing business support function.
11. Be a confident and customer-focused communicator with the ability to manage and interpret the right data, and to present it in professional manner.
12. Ability to meet tight deadlines.
13. Be confident in working with numbers and large volumes of data.
14. Be educated to GCSE level in English and Maths, with an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent.
15. Have excellent IT skills (Outlook/Excel/Word), keyboard skills.
16. Have a strong attention to detail, be persistent, resilient and determined to achieve goals set.
17. Ability to develop good working relationships with key stakeholders within the business.
