An exciting opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join a prestigious international real estate investor and developer. The successful candidate will provide legal and administrative support to the General Counsel Europe & America and the Paralegal, assisting with corporate governance, legal compliance, and corporate operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Legal Support:
1. Assist in legal matters, including administering NDAs, consultant appointments, and additional service letters.
2. Ensure all executed documents are retained in accordance with company policies and stored electronically using platforms such as Conject, Salesforce, and other collaboration systems.
3. Provide ad-hoc support to project teams as required.
2. Company Secretarial Duties:
1. Liaise with joint venture partners and company secretarial teams to maintain an updated Board Meetings calendar.
2. Draft Notices, Agendas, and prepare Board Packs.
3. Maintain a comprehensive and organised database of corporate documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
4. Manage Company Books, including electronic versions.
5. Handle corporate filings, ensuring all deadlines are met in compliance with legal requirements.
6. Update Organisation Charts and Company Overview Spreadsheets.
7. Circulate resolutions and take Board Meeting minutes, ensuring timely distribution to Board Members.
3. Administrative Duties:
1. Oversee electronic filing for UK-managed projects.
2. Coordinate legal meetings and manage the General Counsel’s diary, including scheduling Board and Shareholder Meetings.
3. Assist with typing, formatting, and amending contracts, legal documents, and correspondence.
4. Perform general administrative duties aligned with the role.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Ensure legal paperwork is accurately maintained, reviewed, and circulated.
2. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Legal Department.
3. Assist development teams with board reports.
4. Support administration teams with legal documentation.

1. Development, Investment, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Contracts & Procurement, and HR teams
2. Internal Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management teams
External:
1. External legal service providers
2. Joint venture in-house legal and company secretarial teams
Candidate Requirements:
1. Qualifications:
1. Degree-level education, preferably in a legal-related field.
2. Experience:
1. 3+ years’ experience in a corporate legal environment.
2. Highly organised, methodical, and efficient.
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
4. Good understanding of legal and corporate governance matters.
5. Sound judgment and the ability to manage confidential information.
6. Resilient and able to work under pressure.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
8. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships.
