SEN Team LeaderWorking Pattern: Full time (37hrs per week) Salary: Up to £36, 372 per annum (dependent upon qualifications and experience) The Role: The college is dedicated to supporting students with SEN and ensuring that students reach their full potential.We support an increasing number of learners with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and also an increase in learners with SEND attending the college, we are looking for a SEN Team Leader to manage and coordinate the daily activities of the team and assist with the development of our support provision for Learners.
The role entails coordinating teams on both campuses as they work on Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs) and High Needs Students (HNS). Duties will still include attending reviews at our feeder schools, leading annual reviews for our current students. Liaising with County Councils and multiagency teams. Working with SpLD Assessors and ALS Team Leaders to supply individualised needs. It will also involve managing the SEN officers and administrators and overseeing the whole SEN team.
Experience of the EHCP process, dealing with students with high needs, a good standard of education and SENCO qualification or willingness to undertake one is essential.
