Business Development Manager – UK & Ireland
UK & Ireland (Field-Based) | Weekly Office Presence in Southend-on-Sea | Occasional Travel to Europe
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Competitive Bonus Structure- uncapped 1+ car allowance
Our client is a market-leader expanding their UK & Ireland operations and looking for a self-motivated sales professional to drive business growth.
As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in managing existing client relationships while proactively seeking out new business opportunities. This is a field-based role, requiring regular travel across the UK & Ireland, with a weekly presence at the Southend-on-Sea office and occasional travel to Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management (50%)
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to increase revenue
Provide exceptional customer service and technical support
Ensure regular contact with clients to address needs and maintain satisfactionNew Business Development (50%)
Identify and target new customers within the UK & Ireland
Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and industry events
Present and sell solutions, tailoring proposals to client needs
Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIsCollaboration & Reporting
Attend weekly team meetings at the Southend office to share updates and market insights
Provide regular feedback on customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity
Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and project deliveryTravel
Regular travel across the UK and Ireland to meet clients and prospects
Occasional travel to Europe for team meetings, training, and product updatesSkills & Experience Required
