* Salary from $50.20 per hour (including 25% casual loading) + 11.5% Superannuation

Join Manningham Art Studio’s team of casual tutors in the collaborative and people-focused Arts & Culture team. Use the experience and skills of your professional arts and/or teaching practice to develop and deliver a variety of workshops and term-based studio classes across a spectrum of visual arts.
About the Role
Manningham Art Studios deliver face-to-face visual arts 4 and 8 week courses and specialist workshops for people of all ages and skill levels. The programs can be both project-based or have a skills development focus. As a Manningham Art Studios Tutor, you will contribute to a diverse suite of contemporary visual art studio programs and workshops for adults, youth, and children and inspire students in their creativity and contemporary visual arts learning.
You will develop and deliver end-to-end term-based courses and specialist workshops, teaching industry best practice in contemporary visual arts. Manningham Art Studios provides an inclusive environment, and you will be adept at teaching a range of ages and abilities, including culturally diverse participants and students that may have a disability or require additional support.
You will also utilise your expertise to provide technical oversight to the day-to-day visual art studio and/or ceramic studio operations to ensure seamless program delivery.
Skills and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (Visual Arts, Ceramics), Education majoring in Visual Arts or Ceramics, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience in a relevant area.
* Experienced as a practising professional contemporary visual artist.
* Skilled in developing and tutoring contemporary visual arts studio courses for a diverse demographic, including adults, youth, children, and culturally diverse communities, as well as students requiring additional support.
* Proficient in time management, prioritising tasks, and forward planning to ensure adequate lead time for Arts & Cultural Services operations and promotions.
* Agile and flexible, with the ability to adapt and deliver course programming and platforms based on organisational needs, including availability for daytime, evening, and/or weekend courses and workshops.
* Valid Police Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate, and have completed a pre-employment manual handling medical assessment.
