Position Description: Manage Bunge trading grids and coordinate Bunge program for the Bulk Oils Desk in Latin America; Gather the latest cash basis information by talking to the different origination offices and deciding which products and different origins should price more competitively into each of the destinations managed by Bunge in Latin America; Discuss scenarios to optimize freight and logistics as well as cash trades with the different Bunge distribution offices in Colombia, Central America, and Peru and supply them with enough information to assist in their decision making; Liaise with the Accounting and Execution team to ensure the cash executions are smooth and the PnL is reconciled between the trading and accounting team; and Be the day-to-day face to the destinations, discussing with clients the best supply alternatives of the different products and ensuring their supply chain is smoothly served through logistical and other solutions provided by Bunge. Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.
Position Qualifications: This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Operations Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Agricultural Economics or related field and 2 years of work experience required in commodity or foreign trade or a related field. Additionally, a qualified applicant must have professional experience with:
1. 1 year of experience in grain, oilseeds and vegetable oil futures markets and hedging marketing;
2. 1 year of experience in tanker freight, logistics, export operations and execution, documentation;
3. 1 year of experience with “mark-to-market” accounting, SAP system and position management;
4. 1 year in logistics coordination and planning;
5. 1 year of experience in the Latin America Vegetable Oils markets;
6. 1 year of traceability and sustainable certifications and controls, such as ISCC and RSPO.
Special Requirement: Foreign Language Requirement - Fluency in Spanish required.
