Your new school Hays are recruiting for a job as a Full-Time Welsh-Medium Teaching Assistant for a Welsh-Medium Primary School in Caerphilly County. Within this role you shall be working within an SEN class with small groups of pupils aged between 9 and 11 with additional learning needs and some aspects of challenging behaviour. Your new role.The role is confirmed long-term for an immediate start, working 5 days a week. Duties relating to this role include but are not limited to:
1. Working with small groups of pupils aged 9-11 in an SEN class.
2. Dealing with potentially challenging behaviour.
3. Creating and maintaining a safe, enjoyable, interactive, and engaging learning environment for the pupils.
4. Conversing in welsh with pupils and staff members alike.
5. Assisting teachers and fellow teaching assistants as a member of the close, positive, and well-respected teaching team.
What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, it is required that you possess at least 40 days of relevant experience over the course of the last 2 – 3 years and must be able to speak Welsh.
