Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust (LGT) is a community-focused provider of local and acute care, delivering high-quality services to over one million people across the London boroughs of Lewisham, Greenwich, and Bexley. We provide comprehensive care and support our communities to live healthier lives and to receive care when needed.

We recently launched our new vision and values to mark the tenth anniversary of our Trust, aiming to be exceptional in patient care, staff support, and community partnership. Our core values include Respect, Compassion, Inclusion, Accountability, Listening, and Succeeding together.
Our hospitals and community sites offer a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and planned care services. The Trust is rated as “good” or “outstanding” in over 75% of services inspected by the Care Quality Commission.
Annually, we perform 10,000 procedures, support 7,500 births, conduct 570,000 community visits, and provide emergency care for over 300,000 patients. We are also a training hub for medical students, nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals, and are pioneering new roles to meet changing patient needs.
