Job Description:
Dakota Hotels have a fixed-term position for maternity leave cover in Scotland for Regional Revenue Manager, overseeing revenue strategies for three hotels in the central belt.
CONTRACT and LOCATION
This hybrid role involves up to two days remote work, with the rest based in one of our three Dakota Hotel locations in Scotland: South Queensferry, Maxim Business Park near Motherwell, or Glasgow city centre.
This is an 18-month fixed-term contract, starting as soon as possible, no later than July. It offers a full-time salary of £45,000/year plus revenue bonus of up to £1,200 per quarter.
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
* Implement the revenue strategy set by the Director of Revenue based in Dakota Manchester.
* Manage and optimize the revenue management system (RMS) to achieve top REVPAR results.
* Develop and execute revenue yield management strategies across multiple hotels, expanding from six to at least eight within two years.
* Adjust pricing strategies based on demand and market conditions, including rate management and restrictions.
* Forecast consumer behaviour and market trends to maximize revenue.
* Monitor and analyze KPIs, collaborating with hotel management and sales teams.
* Provide regular revenue forecasts and performance reviews via conference calls.
* Manage online sales platforms and OTA channels to balance visibility and cost efficiency.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
* Experience in revenue management within Edinburgh and Glasgow hotel markets [required]
* At least 3 years in hotel revenue management [required]
* Managing 300+ bedrooms across multiple sites [required]
* Strong analytical, reporting, and technological skills
* Qualifications like HOSPA certification or a relevant degree are advantageous
* Willing to work onsite at least three days a week, with up to two days remote
* Right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship available
