Front Office Supervisor - Courtyard by Marriott Glasgow SEC
The Front Office Supervisor is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk while on duty. Leading the team to ensure that the Reception operations run smoothly at all times and supporting Receptionists in their day-to-day tasks and working closely with Front Office Manager. On a broader scale of Front Office Supervisor is to ensure that all of the hotels guests are greeted, assisted with a level of service, and welcomed in a genuine warm way at all times.
* Manage the day-to-day operation of Front Office
* Full flexibility in shift patterns 7 days a week. Early, late and night shifts included
* Customer service, guest relations & creating positive guest experiences
* Ensure a consistent, high level of customer service and manage guest requests and service recovery
* Supervise accurate and efficient reception operations including check in/out procedures
* Drive sales revenue and promote hotel services and facilities for up-selling opportunities
* Manage all bills & payments correctly
* Supporting other team members and management
* Ensure team members have updated knowledge of all room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, local area and other general Marriott product knowledge necessary to perform their duties
* Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics to inspire team members to meet and exceed standards
* Co-ordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in and report any guest concerns
* Assist the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis
* Carry out Duty Manager shifts
